Journalist and filmmaker Robert Exley Jr. talks about the difficulties in covering one’s own personal history. Exley reflects on the challenges producing his award-winning doc, ‘Prodigal Father’, a film exploring the aftermath of his father’s decades-long heroin addiction and violent past.
